I met Kerri through a friend of a friend. She was living on Guam at the time, wife of a sailor stationed on the island. We hit it off and became friends before we ever picked up a camera together. That's always the best way — when the friendship comes first, the photos take care of themselves.
We shot together several times, and every session felt easy. No pretense, no pressure. Just good light, good conversation, and a camera between us.
